This week’s all new Community Focus features Samuel Landis, Executive Director/Co-Founder, and Brian Garry, Chief Advisor of Maslow’s Army!

Maslow’s Army is a local non profit helping community members who are experiencing homelessness by providing for basic needs (food, shelter, clothing), as well as offering recovery groups and individual assistance as needed.

Currently, Maslow’s Army is working with three hotels in the Cincinnati Area to provide approximately 200 individuals with housing and food during the COVID 19 pandemic. They’re also providing temperature checks and socially-distanced recovery groups for individuals and families being housed.

Because Maslow’s Army is a “young” non-profit, they don’t yet qualify for government subsidy or grants, so donations are critical for them to continue serving those experiencing homelessness at this time, and they have been able to provide their current housing because of donations from individuals and groups in the Cincinnati Area. Please consider donating by visiting their facebook page or their website at www.maslowsarmy.org!

You can listen to this interview Friday at 5:45 pm, Saturday at 5:45 pm and on Sunday at 9:15 am and 7:15 pm. Thank you so much for listening to Community Focus on Christian Talk 1160!
