The Dragonfly Foundation delivers emotional, relational, and practical support systems for families in the Tri-State affected by pediatric cancer.
In this important conversation we will talk about the different types of pediatric cancer (leukemia, lymphoma, solid tumors), the fact that every day in the US 43 children are diagnosed with cancer, and more than 40,000 children undergo treatment for cancer each year. In our area alone, Cincinnati Children’s receives 400-450 new patients per year, and their 60+beds are full on any given day.
We also discussed how others can get involved and help this amazing organization even through volunteer work or donations!
